The worlds touch calling out
To call something mine
A pane of glass separating
I cannot taste or smell
I go numb from touch
I fall back within my self

A stranger in the dark collects her thoughts
She contemplates a new design
Brilliant shapes emerge amongst the dust
They’re wiped away in their due time
A brilliant flash emits across the sky
Just one moment then it’s gone
Darkness fills the void it left behind
But nothing ever takes its place

Deconstruct the universe

Behind words and shadows
A prisoner lies in time
Lift the veil—awaken the sky
Inherit all of our ignorance

Cast aside your dimension
Spirits now are ascending
Life creates and so it destroys
In this place stars are dying

Zero dimensions of time
You are trapped inside
Nothing beyond this form
No escape from the nightmare
Dualistic nature defined
Lies from tongues of fire
The shell is not the prison
Nothing but a thought am I

Travel beyond our world
A figure dressed in black
A messenger of fear
He speaks forbidden knowledge
The poisoned apple tree
From the garden of deceit
His worm tongue speaks the truth
We grow from dust to ashes

Walking alone in the forest
Surrounded by specters of fear
Voices from frozen winds
Words cascade through my ears

Step by step we reassemble
The patterns of leaves in the fall
A complex design, forever entwined
Impermanence the final call

And into the night his words will fall
The flesh is all you ever are
Nature provides the only find
Your body is one with your mind

Free me from this pain
Caught in a never-lasting game
Rip me from my cage of flesh
My own ship of Theseus

UNFOUND

Alive for just one moment
Aware for just one night
No end and no beginning
There’s only here and now
I wish for different answers
I scream into the void
The tower of all knowledge
Is empty at its height

Beneath the endless sky
Philosophy that is born inside
Brushes paint the ages
Before stagnation kills the light

Attempting to create
In vain I must fulfill
Everywhere I gaze
Reflections of the poet's pain

Impossibility
Within thy consciousness
Into infinity
Until the final breath
A reason comes this way
To drown the poet's rhyme
To take it all away
Purpose is forfeit

As the stars above multiply
And as the oceans sink
Underneath a steady hand
The brush breaks upon the canvas
And as the tears will fall
And as the cycle completes
The water level will rise
And blur away all the colors

I no longer wish to see
Through smoke glass eyes
A ghost within the fog
Walking among the void

I no longer wish to see
The distance between us
I try in vain to reach
